last week toyota revealed a range of personalised electric scooters. users can stand on two of
the vehicles without using their arms and control it with their knees. three different types of ‘winglets’
exist that vary according to height and each weigh less than 10kg. it was designed for congested
areas such as shopping centers, airports and hospitals. ‘winglets’ have not yet been put into manufacture
and tests will be conducted in a seaside resort and the airport. the company hopes it will be in use
within the next decade.
