'spans - exhibition: viaducts, bridges and walkways'

london is city situated next to many waterways. any city situated near a river will most
definitely also have bridges and london has many, including the historic london bridge.
‘spans - exhibition: viaducts, bridges and walkways’ focuses on the more contemporary
bridges built recently or planned for the future, including the 2012 olympics. these range
from small footpaths to major arteries. the exhibit features many examples focusing on
the rapid prototype model of the crossings project in dorset produced for the exhibit.
a number of the bridge architects featured in the exhibit will also be giving lectures
every wednesday.
