development

the botanical essence and infused flavour of the brand personality are at the heart of the ‘botanical'
martini glass design. emphasizing the root of bombay sapphire's flavour, the delicate infused flavour
of the botanicals, with a shape inspired by the organic form of root systems from where so much
of the scent and lightness is derived.

the glass reflects the sophistication and elegance of a bombay sapphire occasion, deviating from
archetypal martini glass architecture of a filled base and stem. this is achieved by extending the
elegance of the stem into the base created by the form of the root system design. resulting in a
vessel that is light and elegant on its feet, yet stable. prototypes was created in collaboration with
simon moore glass
