'the industrial hand' ceramics collection by heather mae erickson

heather mae erickson is a ceramics designer based in philadelphia, pennsylvania. she graduated from
cranbrook academy in 2004 and has since established her own studio. this year she launched her
latest collection ‘the industrial hand’ which consists of simple black and white ceramics fit for everyday
use. the collection features vases, trays, dinnerware and the most unusual piece 'sprinkle’, a reworking
of her previous salt and pepper set. her work combines glossy and flat surfaces together in a variety
of asymmetrical shapes.
