the ‘portsmouth vernacular’ project, 2008
jodie silsby a graduate from the university of portsmouth, UK has sent in images of her most recent projects. trained as a graphic designer her projects are focussed around typography. she has created the ‘portsmouth vernacular’ a mapping project that illustrates the city in relation to dialect and language based around portsmouth and ‘hearsay’ a book that explores speech, containing transluscent paper that is entirely screen printed.
