V&A museum buy the original rolling stones logo for 92,500 USD



yesterday the victoria and albert museum in london bought the original artwork of the rolling stones' iconic red lips
and tongue logo at auction. the V&A paid 92,500 USD for the logo after it was put up for sale by british designer
john pasche, who designed it in 1970 while he was still a student at the royal college of art - he was paid 50 GBP.



john pasche say he will use the money to finance his sons education, you can find more on the story over on the

the logo was first used on the 'sticky fingers' album insert sleeve, 1971.
