'apartment building' t-shirt for the 'skin of the city' collection by SQY-T
for SQY-T, the t-shirt is a way of inviting individuals to freely advertise their desires, political views and
observations to others. the designs and imagery SQY-T use are insights into daily life, looking to
culture, politics, economics and art as sources of interest and inspiration. one of their series is the
'skin of the city' collection in which they have released the 'apartment building' t-shirt. designed by
yan hu, the t-shirt is meant to give one an idea about space and place. there is sometimes a sense of
detachment when living in an urban environment because of the fast paced life of the city, but perhaps
we might feel better acquainted to our surroundings if we clothe ourselves with the skin of the city.
the apartment building should not only where one lives, but also what they wear.
