scubism by nigel coates

british designer nigel coates was invited by italian furniture company boffi to design a range of furniture.
coates developed the 'scubism' range that includes twenty two pieces consisting of sofas, chairs
and tables. coates reinterpreted the traditional style of boffi through adding bright colors in the upholstery
and wood of the range. the 'scoubidou' table series was developed with a sense of humor and comes
in three different sizes. the range is on display at chaplin's furniture showroom as part of this year's
london design festival.
