baccarat harcourt collection updated by 5.5 designers

original harcourt collection by baccarat
the paris based studio, 5.5 designers is very busy these days. when they are not trying to sell their
discontinued products for 1 euro, they are redesigning the classic ‘harcourt’ line by baccarat for
everyday living. the famed french crystal maker is strongly linked to luxury goods rather than everyday
tableware. enter 5.5 designers, who were given the task of transforming the famed ‘harcourt’ collection
into a set of more accessible goods. the studio took the classic lines and silhouettes from the ‘harcourt’
collection and superimposed them onto a series of simple glass pieces. one line features large imprints
while the other transforms it into a pattern and the other a decal. the new collection was unveiled at
baccarat’s paris showroom on september 5th.
