‘jon burgerman: pens are my friends’ is not only the latest title published by IdN, it is also the debut volume
of collected works by UK illustrator jon burgerman. the publication features burgerman’s commercial,
personal and collaborative works including toys, clothing, exhibitions, murals, sketchbooks and even
a sick bag. in addition to the artist’s work, the book also has essays and looks into burgerman’s creative
process. the book also comes with a dvd full of random digital goodies as well as a poster and mini
sketchbook. burgerman is currently showing his work in the ‘mixtart’ group show at giant robot in
san francisco until october 8th.
