today is the opening of the bio 21, the 21st biennial of industrial design, a month long international exhibition of
industrial design, visual communications and design concepts. the works chosen express creative and
innovative solutions to current issues such as sustainable development and social responsibility. the chair of
this year's jury is victor margolin. tonight is the announcement of the bio awards, in which the jury judged the
126 projects from 18 countries which are being exhibited this year. shown here are project winners and
honorable mentions from previous bio exhibitions.
