designboom is just back from prague designblok 2008 which is celebrating its ten-year-long existence.
this year's event featured the work of over 202 designers who exhibited their work at different venues
across the city. one of the main venues was superstudio corso in karlin which housed the one of the main
shows, designer's catwalk, an exhibition of 50 design studios, 11 school studios and 3 galleries all from
the czech republic. also found at superstudio corso was the crème de la crème projects, a presentation of
the latest collections by both local and foreign manufacturers. stella artois was part of the crème de la
crème projects where they premiered the original stella artois bottle crate designed by maxim velčovský
and unity design. the installation displayed the process work involved in the design and the final product
for people to view.
