roderick vos’ latest collaboration is with tulp, for whom he created a moulded aluminium fire bowl named 'lotus'.
the fire bowl is design for outdoor use when the weather turns cold. the design is created with three circles
which ripple outward helping to keep the fire logs in place. ‘lotus’ comes in two models, a low version and
a higher version. the aluminium is blasted and untreated. vos designed the piece very simply but also wanted
it to be an attractive object even when not in use. galerie priveekollektie will be unveiling the new design
during dutch design week from october 18 –26, 2008.
