‘ultra speed trivial thoughts’ helmet from the spoetry project (sports tool poetry)
jooyoun paek is an artist and interaction designer born in seoul and based in new york. we first featured
her work on designboom over one year ago. since then she has produced a number of new works that
have been exhibited in prestigious exhibits such as ‘design and the elastic mind’ at the moma and
'untethered' at eyebeam gallery. here is some of her new work including ‘eye contact eyeglasses’ which
join two pairs of eyeglasses together to force the users to make eye contact and ‘self-sustainable chair’
which uses walking generated air to inflate a chair.
