'liquid light' by kyouei design / kouichi okamoto

'liquid' series by kyouei design featuring bookmark, table lamp and wall lamp

in addition to the ‘liquid bookmark’, kyouei design has also recently released the ‘liquid lamp’. like the
bookmark, the lamp is designed with a dripping pattern that makes the product look like it is melting.
the lamp comes in a wall mounted model, table lamp and a hanging version, which will co-incidentally
be shown during designboom’s upcoming mart exhibit in tokyo. kyouei’s lead designer, kouichi okamoto,
will not only be showing the lamp at the booth but he has also designed a special light installation just for
the occasion. the installation will feature a series of ‘liquid lights’ strategically hung above the designboom
mart. so, if you are in tokyo, please come and visit the light installation and the designboom mart both of
which will run from october 30 - november 3, 2008 at 100% design tokyo.
