‘liquid space’ by ross lovegrove at design miami

as part of this year’s design miami event in december, the swarovski crystal palace will present an installation
featuring the work of ross lovegrove. the installation ‘liquid space’ features a table and chandelier design by
lovegrove. the chandelier’s design appears to have melted through the ceiling and is shaped in a vortex.
it uses swarovski crystals which will then reflect light onto the polished aluminium tables below.
the ‘bioform quarter tables’ are milled from solid aluminium and polished to a mirror finish. the tables are
divided into quarters and need the support of each other to stand up, they can also leaned up in a corner.
design miami will run from december 3 –6, 2008.
