‘morosus’ by roderick vos for priveekollektie
december 3 –6, 2008
dutch designer roderick vos will be among the designers on show through priveekollektie during
design miami/ 08. vos will be exhibiting ‘morosus’ a limited edition chair and ceramic pieces from the
‘white gold series’. ‘morosus’ is a chaise lounge which takes formal queues from leaves. the chaise
was designed to update the classic typology for this century. the design is made from cast aluminium
and contoured to fit the body. the ceramic pieces in the ‘white gold series’ are made by the dutch
company koninklijke tichelaar makkum. they are produced in a limited run of 25 and feature a bowl
‘atlantis’ and two vases ‘ma-ma’ and ‘bloom’. all these pieces also reference nature. priveekollektie will
be showing these pieces and more at the temporary structure by aranada/lasch.
