french first lady carla bruni-sarkozy is suing a fashion chain for selling bags emblazoned with nude
images of her in the latest legal action over the presidential couple's image.

the bags feature a 1993 picture by michel comte of topless french first lady carla bruni-sarkozy
the bags were on sale last week at pardon shop for 3 euros each.
customers were given a free bag if they spent more than five euros.

the picture was auctioned for 91,000 dollars at christie's in march 08,
it is a silver gelatin print measuring 32.5x22.5cm
money from the sale of the photograph went to the swiss charity sodis,
which provides clean drinking water to developing countries.

This is just incredibly low and sexist. It proves that no matter how high a woman rises in society it's still okey to humiliate and objectify her.
I mean printing her naked body on a bag, without her consent ofcourse?! God.
