‘airsquare’

oliver schick is a furniture designer based in frankfurt, germany. his designers concentrate on simple
forms and ideas executed through experimental materials of processes. ‘airsquare’ is a shelving
system which is built using a special plastic foam. the individual shelves can be linked together to
create a modular array of forms using small knobs. the shelves each weigh 1 kg  but hold up to
15 kg of weight. ‘walker’ is a simple chair that is equipped with 16 legs, arranged in two row,
allowing the chair to rock. another design with an unusual twist is the ‘woodworks’ table. while it
appears ordinary enough on the surface, closer inspection reveals a wood grain engaved in the
glass top.
