'banana family' - 'orientales' series by stefano giovannoni, for alessi

'banana family' designed by stefano giovannoni marks the start of the third chapter
in the 'orientales' series for alessi. launched at macef 09 is a new series of fun loving
friends: 'captain banana' a friendly monkey shaped corkscrew with an amusing
and colorful parrot on his head; 'don banana', the head of the tribe 'boss jar';
'banana babies' a group of place marker monkeys and lastly 'chin banana' a toothpick
holder with a beguiling smile. giovannoni designed all characters in collaboration
with the taiwan national palace museum.
