'thisway' by torkel dohmer

the ‘thisway’ bicycle design by torkel dohmer was recently selected as the winner bicycle design’s
‘commuter bike for the masses’ design competition. the bike features covered top which provides
weather protection for the rider. dohmer also made the design very automobile-like to attract new
cyclists. the bike would be made from very lightweight materials and feature led lights at the back
and front that would be solar powered through a panel on the roof. the back features a space for
luggage and while dohmer anticipates a high cost to manufacture ring the bike, it would still be
cheaper than car and also has zero running cost.
