sander mulder


‘vk001’

sander mulder is a young dutch designer with a portfolio full of designs that cover lighting, accessories
and furniture. he founded his own studio in 2002 and has been producing new designs and interiors
since. the studio’s work explores new materials as well as new application for traditional materials.
‘pandora’ is a prime example that uses the shipping container archetype in a domestic setting.
multi-coloured steel cabinets are outfitted with glass shelves and built to stack like their mega-size
influences. ‘vk001’ demonstrates mulder’s experimental side. the mass-produced chair utilizes a flexible
steel seat covered in leather laminate, allowing the user to mould their chair to their personal preference.
