‘russian doll metal table’, 2008
rich, brilliant, willing is the new york studio creating environments, furniture and product design.
designboom first covered RBW during the 2008 new york design week. since then they have added
some new products to their portfolio and were the creative team responsibly for id magazine’s
‘box top shop’ during design miami 2008. the project was a design gallery/storefront that featured
furniture made completely from cardboard boxes and packing tape. RBW’s work centers around the
‘reinvention of materials’, taking what materials are out there and repurposing them in new ways.
