monica förster has designed ‘lei’ – an office chair developed and adapted specifically for women. the seating object is a result of a lengthy study on female sitting posture. it offers support for the lumbar vertebrae and the curve of the spine. the specifications were defined by swedish company officeline and ergonomist ellen wheatley. for ‘lei’ förster used elastic and pressure-relieving fabric created by kvadrat. the ‘lei’ office chair is available in lemon, burgundy, dark pigeon blue and warm grey.
