jerszy seymour: amateur furniture, design workshop at MARTa herford

the amateur furniture workshop is part of the exhibition 'nullpunkt' /zero point,
an exhibition which features a subjective selection of groundbreaking
design positions currently being produced in germany.

on show at MARTa, museum of contemporary art and design in herford, germany.

guest curator of this exhibition, which is taking place in the four external galleries,
is max borka / brussels. max borka is art director of designbrussels and a founding
member of the belgian ministry of design.
his aim is to consider hitherto unknown aspects of german design from an international
perspective. the focus will not be on industrial products, but installations, performances
and processes. 'nullpunkt' will exhibit works by outsiders, emigrants and immigrants
like jerszy seymour, marti guixé and el ultimo grito.
'nullpunkt' / zero point is the first exhibition under the direction of roland nachtigäller,
jan hoet’s successor and the new director of marta herford.
