the swedish design collective form us with love teamed up with the design company mitab and the
nordic sea hotel to develop a special line of furnishings for hotel lobbies and lounges. this collection
began with a careful research project examining the lobby environment and collected interviews from
hotel staff, bartenders, cleaners and other stakeholders. the studio analyzed these different perspectives
and combined them with mitab’s functional and contemporary mandate to design furniture that met all
the requirements. the result is a hotel collection consisting of four pieces ‘lobby’ sofa, ‘piccolo’ side
table, ‘waiter’ dining table and ‘porter’ dining chair. prototypes of the collection were displayed at the
nordic sea hotel during stockholm design week, while the final models should be ready later this year.
