'tri3' waste can by constance guisset

constance guisset is a french designer with a broad range of designs in her portfolio. of her most recent is
the ‘tri3’ waste system, which helps users sort their trash and recycling. as the environment becomes a bigger
issue all over the world, more countries require people to sort their trash. until recently products that were
designed for this task didn’t exist. guisset has gone one step further to create a design that stacks three pedal
operated cans vertically in one. the top one is for trash, the middle is for recycling and the bottom is for glass.
the design also integrates a bag dispenser in the top portion for easy access.

i saw it, and i must say the prototype is far from working properly, not really functional, not at all.

Thats why its a prototype!
when in production it will hopefully?

BUT - I think even it is not working (prototype) yet, seems to be the first useful and well designed wastebin i've seen ...
