peter johansen is a copenhagen based designer who has created a number of furniture pieces and interiors
as a freelance designer and with his own studio peter johansen/0501. johansen designs simple and rational
pieces that reflect the spirit of scandinavian design. designboom has featured johansen’s work on many
occasions including his 'metro' stools for the manufacturer hay. here is a collection of some of johansen’s
other work, including his ‘self’ collapsible shelving unit. he is currently on new projects at the national
workshops for arts and crafts in copenhagen where he is a designer is residence.
