cactus design scenario

cactus design scenario

probably the most famous cactus is the saguaro, with its hard and solid spines
which grow from the stem. generally speaking, a cactus is a symbol of patience,
endurance, persistence and nostalgia. its cultural imaginary is portrayed in the
emphasis of the many design applications.

this is really disturbing !!

one of the things i miss in Industrial design is the absence of expected reaction of feelings from the observer, once i see some couch with that scary planet i would NEVER EVER think of sitting on it !! i don't know if that was made by student or designer ! neither it is would be absolutely knowing anything about feelings ! they are some disturbing designs in my opinion !!

Thank you for this great "cactus style" collection
Lecactus (lecactus.ru)   03.08.09
Well M.G/TheWolf..I will agree with you, lately we are seeing more and more designs without a thought from the designers...just for sketching something....
And I'm wondering what all those designers do? Because after all, most of the products that are manufactured and are on the market...well, are serious and nothing to do with what I described before...
Thanks to all for reading...
