helmo is french graphic design studio comprised of designers thomas couderc and clément vauchez.
the two have been collaborated together since 2002, creating designs for clients including a number
of cultural institutions. one of their reoccurring assignments is the designs for jazzdor, jazz festival in
strasbourg and berlin. since 2006, the two have contributed to the project. for the 2008 edition the
two created a series of hybrid images composed of a portrait and an urban landscape plan. the portraits
were taken by olivier roller and the plan views were by tendance floue. the resulting images were
used for different promotional pieces, including this series of posters.
