lorenza luti, kartell's marketing and retail manager and mind behind the project said,
'kartell is not merely a design company, it has been the leading brand in experimentation with plastics
for sixty years. consequently, when I started to think about a range of shoes, it was natural to give the
product our imprint.'
claudio luti, owner and president of kartell: 'we tried something new in october 2008 by producing
shoes for women. we may follow this up with other products such as accessories, watches, ...'



made from an injection-molding technology that allows for the creation of two-tone shoes
combining transparent and opaque materials, the shoe is available in a variety of shades.
the ballerina flats are on sale now at kartell flagship stores and select boutiques throughout the world.




the supple form is marked by a two-tone color scheme that is available in opaque/opaque or
transparent/ opaque versions. the design comes with the added bonus of being waterproof,
so there's little need to worry when the spring showers come raining down.
