‘interlock’ by itay ohaly

israeli designer itay ohaly has sent us images of his latest work ‘interlock’, that he created made from an acrylic sheet and wood.

the project examines the possibilities and potential embodied in connection between mold and raw material, using thermoplastic board processing. the final, one off connection, derives out of the manipulation between the two materials. one changing the shape of the other, while the other grips and interlocks with the first.
