with wind speed of 1.5m/s, the 30 cm diameter lampshade rotates and LED illumination can be lit.
the generated electricity is stored in a nickel hydride battery and can be used for street- and
garden lights.

toshihiko suzuki established toshihiko suzuki architect & associates (atelier OPA) in 1990.
he is currently professor of design systems at the tokyo metropolitan university.
