michael young: 'link' installation during ART HK 09 hong kong international art fair


'link' installation by michael young

british designer michael young will launch his latest industrial innovations
at the ART HK 09 hong kong international art fair.

the installation will open on may 14, hosted by the pawn, a modern british bar & eatery.
‘link’ was designed by michael young and produced in a limited series.
the table concept has been developed in collaboration with advanced southern chinese
aluminum and carbon fiber component manufacturers.
essentially a table to begin with, 'link' can grow organically into vast structures.

the 'link' system is also developed in a carbon fiber special edition which will be more formally
unveiled in september 9-10 during the asian aerospace show for which michael young is the
newly appointed creative director.
