'soundplotter'

designers johannes tsopanides and johanna spath have sent in images of their
recent projects; 'soundplotter', 'cloudspeaker' and 'exorbit'. each of the
works were created using rapid prototyping.

'soundplotter' is an interactive concept that translates sounds into
a three dimensional object. using the programming language 'processing',
where the volume of a sound can change the size of a body in real time
they created the vases. they are built in layers, at which the single
layers display the course of time during the recording.

'cloudspeakers'

'cloudspeaker' is a conceptual work to create loudspeakers that reflect
the music taste of their owner via 3d printing. the design uses music tag information
(stored on computers) and shapes it into individualised loudspeakers.

'exorbit'

'exorbit' is a ventilator built out of several interacting parts that
are printed into each other.

the new works will be on display as part of the 'hidden heroes' exhibition
at milan design week.
