jonas lyndby jensen: wooden spoon chair

young danish designer jonas lyndby jensen reinterpreted the classic windsor chair using wooden spoons.
fittingly titled ‘wooden spoon chair’, this design is a modern take of the classic dining chair design,
taking inspiration from its use. the spoons are used as the back support on the chair, much like the dowels
on the traditional design. the wooden spoons provide a comfortable flexibility because there is no cross
brace, typically found on the windsor chair. the design is made from soap treated ash wood and features
a seat cushion of woven horsehair with a textile by jacob bille that is also used on top of the spoons.
