mathieu lehanneur: bucky's nightmare

designer mathieu lehanneur transforms the geodesic domes of buckminster fuller into reconfigurable leather
ottomans. the design for 'bucky's nightmare' takes the principles of the geodesic dome known for its
structural innovation and research and turns it into a blob structure. the leather ottoman is filled with a
reconfigurable foam that alters form depending on the use. the triangular sewn leather allows the design
to shift form, acting like a blob while retaining its geometric structure. lehanneur designed the ottoman in
90cm and  150 cm versions.

modular,

the bouroullecs do not have the copyright on faceted product or textile design. perhaps you should further elaborate upon your opinion so that is has validity to others.

i for one enjoy this piece. it brings modernity to the "beanbag" or "ottoman" in both material and form.

You don't "copy" within 2 months something like that, anyone with a bit of experience knows that such things take much longer to realise, from first idea to working prototype...
