while most designers are creating waste with their products, scrablab is a collective of designers working
to turn waste into products. the initiative is based at kasetsart university in bangkok, thailand and works
with manufacturers and designers to reactivate manufacturing waste such as off-cuts and left-overs. a key
element of their process is their database of industrial waste that catalogs information on waste materials.
scraplab has an ecological mindset but also firmly believes in creating employment opportunities and
creating valuable products through their process. here is a selection of products created by member’s of
