sandra di giacinto uses recycled materials in her small scale paper jewelry designs.
she is attracted to using the reusable material because of the numerous ways it can be treated,
manipulated and assembled. her work draws on the intricacy of japanese art as well as
pleating techniques which are a reference to ancient greece. her collections are minimal,
light, durable and brightly colored and everything is hand-made in limited editions.
shown here is a small collection of buttons which have the look of radiating, corrugated cardboard rings.
