edith levin: connect the dots dinnerware
edith levin: connect the dots dinnerware

new york city based designer edith levin created this collection of dinnerware featuring a connect the dots
motif. the series of pieces were created based on the theme of childhood. each piece features a connect the
dots puzzle in the shape of a common food such as corn, carrots or asparagus. the cup and standard dinner
plate feature a puzzle of themselves created as an outline of the dish. the playful series brings some humour
to the dinner table with a touch of nostalgia.

Such a cool design. I bet this girl is cute too...

I love these. Would be the perfect addition to my purely functional (maybe even a bit uptight) dinnerware set. Hope to come across them in a store...

Ehhh, it's missing the whole point of connect the dots. Who wants a puzzle that's already solved for you?
kg 07.02.09
If you want a puzzle to solve than buy a puzzle book, the pages of which are meant to be disposed of.
This being a dinnerware item, i am assuming the design is simply meant for it's aesthetic and nostalgic value, not for entertainment purposes.
