last week (june 26th) the influential american graphic designer milton glaser celebrated his 80th birthday. his 55 years in design and art were recently the subject of the film 'to inform & delight: the world of milton glaser' directed by wendy keys.



the documentary is currently being screened at various locations across the US after a three week run at cinema village, NY.



glaser is best known for the enduring 'I ♥ NY' logo and his iconic bob dylan poster. more recently he has worked on the identity for manhattan's new tibetan and himalayan buddhist culture museum RMA rubin museum of art, brooklyn brewery, stony brook university, the school of visual arts and numerous others. in april this year milton glaser's released his latest book 'drawing is thinking', which explores the idea that all art is a form of meditation.
