paris-based studio NOCC's object of sound is a collection of objects consisting of
a candle holder, a lampshade, and a vase. each item takes its form from the graphic
produced by a person's voice pronouncing the name of the object.

I think it's unfair to say that "Brizio did the same thing." There is clearly the same inspiration, but the end results are different products, created through different processes, in different materials, with different functions. Perhaps NOCC had never seen Brizio's work, or perhaps they had - does that invalidate their concept?

I think that NOCC gave the idea a beautiful and graphic treatment, I especially like the idea of the lamps, using sound waves to transmit light.
