konstantin grcic: tom tom & tam tam tables
the tom tom & tam tam tables were originally designed in 1992 by designer konstantin grcic and are
being re-issued this year by SCP. the two adjustable tables have steel bases with a brown lacquer finish,
solid beech columns and MDF tops in green and purple lacquer. the two column design allows the table
to be raised and lowered to the desired height and locked in place. the two tables differ in colour and
shape; the tom tom has the green circle top and square base, while the tam tam has a square purple top
with round base. the 2009 re-issued designs will only be available in these colour combinations chosen
by grcic. below you can find konstantin grcic's original drawings and photographs of the first edition.
