BLU at fame festival 2009

BLU at fame festival 2009

italian artists BLU did a wall painting at fame festival, in grottaglie (grottaglie is 10
minutes far from taranto, puglia, italy) at end of august 09.

the city has a massive ugly factory called ILVA. this factory is destroying the territory
and killing a lot of workers ’cause of its big lack of security measures and high
environmental pollution. the direct consequence is that taranto has one of the highest
rate of death by cancer in italy.

the owner of the wall showed up with an hammer to removed all the big nails in the wall
to make the paint job easier.

here are some more images from the fame festival.
