'grip' by marco dessi
'grip' by marco dessi is a new range of glassware developed for austrian company lobmeyr.
each piece consists of ribs on the base, which was created using a sanding wheel.
dessi is just one of the many designers who will display his work as part of one of
the vienna design week 09 events.
under the category 'on display' vienna design week features exhibitions and product
presentations as well as site specific installations and work-in-progress design events
celebrating interational design from the 1st of october until the 11th of october, 2009.



horn watch
austrian designer adam wehsely swiczinsky worked together with thomas petz of petz hornmanufaktur to create a horn bracelet digital watch and horn vision glasses.
max lamb for j. & l. lobmeyr
for his project for j. & l. lobmeyr, chose to redesign the production process in the three most important areas for the company: glass blowing, cutting and engraving.
arik levy at vienna design week 09
arik levy is currently displaying his 'chaton superstructures' developed for swarovski crystal palace, in the courtyard of the liechtenstein museum, as part of vienna design week 09.
