london's barbican art gallery is currently showing the exhibit 'radical nature: art and architecture for a
changing planet 1969-2009'. the show deals with subjects from the land art movement, environmental
activism, experimental architecture and utopianism. the works on show vary in medium from sculptural
installations to photography and architecture. these works are unified by the central theme of artists and
designers working with nature, integrating it directly or indirectly into their work. the exhibition includes
work by pioneering and emerging artists such as joseph beuys, buckminster fuller, robert smithson,
diller scofidio + renfro, philippe rahm architects and r&sie(n).
