hotflat
lijiljana kolundzic of milimetar. has designed hotflat, a coaster / piece of tableware that
is made from reused glass bottles. glass wine bottles and water bottles are heated
and pressed to become flat plates which can be used as a coaster for hot items or as a small dish.

Itīs cool, but itīs not a new idea. Itīs pretty common to find it and iīve done it in college. Although itīs a good way to reuse bottles.

ditto to leila. not really new or special- intro glass kiln working a assignment. also by the way, not the most flat/useful surface in the world. glass is pretty though.

You say she has 'designed' these. Really?
there doesn't seem to be anything distinguished about this rendition of an old, but good idea

I agree with the others that is is not designed nor a new idea. Get a kiln and fire to cone 014 and there you go.

Very comum. Iīve worked with glass kilns and this is the most basic that you can do!
