drawing on simple forms, kuramoto's life chair was derived from his photographic documentation
of mundane chairs and tools which he found during a trip to the countryside. with his life chair,
kuramoto focuses more on how one uses the chair within daily life, looking at its most basic elements,
rather than getting caught up in the ambitions of a designer chair.
