naoto fukasawa cuckoo clock for isetan living

naoto fukasawa cuckoo clock for isetan living

in a collaboration between japanese department store isetan and association NPO - 'more trees'
(an organization devoted to the maintenance and conservation of forest and forestation activity
in japan and overseas), designer naoto fukawasa has developed a cuckoo clock, using timber removed
from over-planted forests. the isetan living exhibition consisted of 50 customized interpretations of
the clock, by 50 artists and designers from japan, developed with the hope of presenting a product that
can help make life more fun. 5% of all sales will be donated to forest preservation.
