tom dixon: glass bead and top pendant lights


'bead'

bead and top pendant lights are part of tom dixon's new collection.
made from heavy weight, extra thick pressed glass, bead and top's form draws on the
molten globules of glass that come from the furnace when they are ready to be blown.
a G9 halogen bulb is used within the pendant distorting the light as it filters through the dense
thickness of the glass. the lights bear the unique marks of the industrial manufacturing process
and are hard wearing.
